January 2010- Due to Canada Post's substantial raise in postage, Rideau Music Ltd has been forced to raise our shipping rates.
Shipping is calculated by weight; for orders over $20.00, if the weight is under 500 grams, we will ship for
the rate of $3.75, not $8.50.

If a multiple-item order shipped by Expedited Parcel includes out of stock items, those items will
be shipped when they arrive in store (usually within 2-3 weeks) at no additional cost to you.

| Greyhound |
- Greyhound is Station To Station only. The Greyhound station in your town or city will call you when the parcel arrives so please make sure you provide a phone number on your web order.
- Greyhound is available for orders outside of Calgary, only in mainland Canada, and may not be directly available to all centres in
Ontario and Quebec. When Greyhound must transfer to another carrier, service will be 3-7 business days.
- Orders sent by Greyhound Express Envelope are restricted to the following dimensions 18"x 12"x 21/2"
(45x30x6.25cm). If an order exceeds these dimensions then Rideau Music will contact you to confirm shipping
rates.
- Multiple-item orders shipped by Greyhound Express Envelope must be shipped as one order. If items
ordered are on backorder, Rideau Music will contact you to confirm shipping times and rates.
- For Greyhound orders to Eastern Canada, we may ship Express Post instead of
Greyhound. The Greyhound Rate will apply.

All orders over $20.00 to the Continental United States are shipped via UPS Standard; door to door
service in 3-5 business days. For orders under $20.00 you can choose to ship your order by Canada Post
or UPS Standard. Please note: for Canada Post Surface orders to the US, shipping times can vary widely and take
upwards of 3-4 weeks.
United States orders are shipped as one package. If any items in your order are out of stock then
the entire order will not be shipped until all the out of stock items are available for shipping.
Orders to Alaska and Hawaii must be shipped UPS Expedited at a shipping rate of roughly $30.00 per order.

| Imports from Overseas |

Due to the ever increasing cost of importing music from overseas, there will be a $10.00 CAD
fee per publisher, applied to all music orders that contain music from overseas, when that music
is out of stock and has to be ordered from an overseas publisher.

| Outside of Canada and the United States |
|
International orders are shipped as one package via airmail. If any items in your order are out of stock, then the
entire order will not be shipped until all the out of stock items are available for shipping.
All orders outside of continental North America will be shipped by weight and will be calculated on an individual basis.
Because of the widely varying costs of shipping throughout the world, Rideaumusic.com reserves $50 cdn on your credit card
at the time you place your order until the exact shipping fee can be determined. The difference is credited back on your
card when the order is shipped.

| Customs and Import Taxes |
Packages delivered within Canada do not incur customs charges or import taxes. However, packages delivered outside of Canada may incur customs charges or taxes for the country you live in. The person receiving the order is responsible for paying all costs associated with their country's customs or import tax system. Rideau Music will not give refunds to customers who return their order because they have refused to pay these costs. You may wish to contact your local customs office for information specific to your country's import tax charges.
